JEE Advanced 2019: Examination Date Postponed, Check Here



The examination date of JEE Advanced 2019 has been postponed due to the clash in the dates of JEE Advanced 2019 exam day and the last phase of General Elections 2019. Earlier, the JEE Advanced 2019 exam was scheduled to be conducted on 19th February but now it will be conducted on 27th February 2019 in fully computer based test mode.

“In view of the clash in the dates of JEE (Advanced) 2019 and the last phase of General Elections 2019, the examination date of JEE (Advanced) 2019 has been shifted to May 27, 2019 (Monday). The examination will be held in India and abroad, on May 27, 2019 (Monday), in the following two shifts: Paper 1 (09:00 to 12:00 IST) and Paper 2 (14:00 to 17:00 IST).” Said in official statement by organizing institute IIT Roorkee.

The online registrations will be start in the first week of May 2019 after the announcement of JEE Main April 2019 examination results. Only those candidates will be able to apply online for JEE Advanced 2019 who had qualified the JEE Main January/April 2019 examination. The tentative schedule of JEE Advanced 2019 is given below in tabular form:

Note: Both the papers are compulsory. The exam will be conducted in fully computer-based test mode and the schedule will remain the same even if the day of examination is declared a public holiday.
