JEE Main 2020: Examinations Start From Today, Check the Guidelines To Be Followed By The Students

NTA has started the examination process for JEE Main 2020 from today, by keeping the security measures amid COVID-19 pandemics NTA has made arrangements to maintain a social distancing of 6 meters among students and before the start of each exam shift and after the last shift ends, all seats will be thoroughly sanitized and the work stations and keyboards will be disinfected.

After a lot of criticism and keeping the security measures in check for JEE Main and NEET 2020 examination, the number of shifts has been increased from the earlier 8 to 12, and the number of candidates per shift has been reduced from earlier 1.32 lakh to 85,000.

JEE Main Exam: Guidelines To Be Followed By Students

  1. Candidates need to clear thermal scans before entering exam halls and there is an 'isolation rooms' for candidates whose body temperature is above a prescribed limit.
  2. The use of face masks and gloves, as well as carrying individual hand sanitiser and a water bottle has been made mandatory for all the students.
  3. Students need to wash their hands and apply sanitizer before entering the JEE Main exam centre.
  4. Five blank sheets will be provided to candidates at their desks. Candidates have to mention their name and roll number at the top of it and drop it in the designated dropbox.
  5. Hand sanitizers will be kept at the entry of the exam venue. Every candidate needs to sanitize their hands before entering the exam hall.
