JEE Advanced 2019: Registrations Start, Apply Now

After the declaration of JEE Main 2019 result, the next step for the qualified students is to apply for JEE Advanced 2019. The registration window is now open and those candidates who want to get admissions in IITs they need to apply for JEE Advanced 2019 after qualifying in JEE Main 2019. Candidates can apply on or before 9th May 2019 from the official website of JEE Advanced.

This year, top 2,45,000 (including all categories) qualified students in the JEE Mains 2019 examination can apply for the JEE Advanced 2019 after meeting all the eligibility criteria for JEE Advanced 2019. Schedule of JEE Advanced 2019 is given below:

Eligibility Criteria for JEE Advanced 2019

  1. Candidates should be among the top 2,45,000 (including all categories) in Paper-1 of JEE (Main) 2019.
  2. Candidates should have been born on or after October 1, 1994. Five years relaxation is given to SC, ST and PwD candidates, i.e., these candidates should have been born on or after October 1, 1989.
  3. A candidate can attempt JEE Advanced a maximum of two times in consecutive years i.e. candidates who appeared in the exam last year, this year will be the last attempt for him/her. Those who appeared in JEE Advanced in 2017 cannot apply this year.
  4. A candidate should have appeared for the Class XII (or equivalent) examination for the first time in either 2018 or 2019.
  5. Must have secured at least 75% aggregate marks in the Class XII (or equivalent) Board examination. The aggregate marks for SC, ST and PwD candidates should be at least 65%.

    Must be within the category-wise top 20 percentile of successful candidates in their respective Class XII (or equivalent) board examination.
  6. A candidate should NOT have been admitted in an IIT irrespective of whether or not he/she continued in the program OR accepted an IIT seat by reporting at a reporting center in the past.

How to apply for JEE Advanced 2019

  1. Visit the official website of JEE Advanced 2019. Click Here
  2. Click on the registration link provided on the homepage. Click Here
  3. After opening the registration link candidates have to log in to their account by entering JEE Main 2019 Roll No and Password.
  4. After login candidate will have to provide their additional phone number and email id.
  5. Candidates personal, academic and contact details will be displayed same as provided in JEE Main 2019.
  6. In JEE Advanced 2019 application form candidates have to choose the choice of examination cities (05 choices), class XII (or equivalent) examination Roll no. etc.
  7. After filling up all the details in the application form, upload the all relevant certificates as mentioned in brochure.
  8. After successfully filling up the application form, pay the registration fee online (through Debit Card/Credit Card/Internet Banking) or in offline mode (by CASH using SBI Branch Option).
  9. After the payment of Application fees, the registration of JEE Advanced 2019 will completed.
  10. Take the print out of the filled application form for the future references.
