DU Admissions 2018: Sixth Cut Off Released, Check Here

The sixth cut-off list for admission of merit-based students to first-year undergraduate courses has been released today by Delhi University. After successfully completed the five-round of cut off list admissions, Delhi University (DU) has announced a special admission drive to fill the vacant seats in the colleges. The admission process based on the sixth cut off list will be conducted from 18th July to 20th July 2018.

Those students who secured the marks as per released list in their 12th class they need to report at the respective colleges in between 18th July 2018 to 20th July 2018. However, the University earlier announced that the undergraduate admission for the academic year 2018-19 will be based on five cut-off lists but the seats remain vacant after the successful completion of the fifth cut off list admissions.

In the sixth cut off list, most of the prominent colleges closing admissions for the general category students. Whereas, students of Science stream from the general category can apply for BSc (Hons)in Biomedical Science, Botany, Zoology, Computer Science in some of the off-campus colleges like Acharya Narendra Dev Collge, Aryabhatta College, Bhaskaracharya College of Applied Sciences, Deen Dayal Upadhyaya College, etc.

Students of Humanities in the general category can apply for BA (Hons) in Economics to Kirori Mal College which has announced a cut off of 96.25% for the course. Miranda House has announced a cut off of 96.25% for BA (Hons) in English while Ramjas College has announced a cut-off of 94.25% in BA (Hons) English. So interested candidates need to report at the respective colleges in between 18th July 2018 to 20th July 2018.

The list of documents required to submit at the time of admission in Du College is given below:

  1. Class 10 Board Examination Certificate.
  2. Class 10 Marks-Sheet (In case it is not combined with Certificate).
  3. Class 12 Marks-Sheet.
  4. Class 12 Provisional Certificate/Original Certificate.
  5. Character Certificate (Recent).
  6. Transfer Certificate from school/college as well as Migration Certificate from Board/University to be submitted by candidates who have cleared their senior secondary exam from outside Delhi.
  7. Two recent passport size self-attested photographs.
  8. Scanned copy of Signature.
  9. SC/ST/PwD Certificate (in the candidate’s name) issued by the competent authority.
  10. OBC (non-creamy layer) Certificate issued by competent authority. Such candidates also need to submit their income proof.
  11. Candidates who apply under the Kashmiri Migrant Quota they need to be submitted their Kashmiri Migrant Certificate issued by the Divisional Commissioner/Relief Commissioner.
  12. Educational Concession Certificate to be submitted by aspirants applying under the CW quota. Such a certificate should be issued by a competent authority.
  13. Sports/ECA Distinction certificate of last three years to be listed in descending order (From 1st April 2015 to 31st March 2018).

So before reporting to the college's admission office, every student must ensure that they have all required documents with them.
