DU Admissions 2018: 7th Cut Off Released, Check Here

The seventh cut-off list has been released by Delhi University on 6th August 2018 for admission of merit-based students to first-year undergraduate courses with many off-campus colleges declaring the availability of seats in science and commerce streams for the session 2018-2019.

There are seats available in B.A. (Hons) Economics in Kamla Nehru College, Aryabhatta College, Daulat Ram College and Delhi College of Arts and Commerce for which students of the general category can still apply. General category candidates also apply in B.A. (Hons) English at Aryabhatta College along with other courses like B.A. programme,  B.A. (Hons) Political Science.

Similarly, the general aspirants can apply for B.A. (Hons) in Sanskrit and Sociology in Bharati College. Delhi College of Arts and Commerce has seats available for B.A. (Hons) English, B.A. (Hons) History and B.A. (Hons) Journalism.

General category’s science students can apply for B.Sc. (Hons) in Computer Science at Dyal Singh College while Daulat Ram College has seats available under its B.Sc. (Hons) Mathematics course. Apart from these Acharya Narendra Dev College has seats available for general category candidates under B.A. (Hons) Botany and Chemistry.

The list of documents required to submit at the time of admission in Du College is given below:

  1. Class 10 Board Examination Certificate.
  2. Class 10 Marks-Sheet (In case it is not combined with Certificate).
  3. Class 12 Marks-Sheet.
  4. Class 12 Provisional Certificate/Original Certificate.
  5. Character Certificate (Recent).
  6. Transfer Certificate from school/college as well as Migration Certificate from Board/University to be submitted by candidates who have cleared their senior secondary exam from outside Delhi.
  7. Two recent passport size self-attested photographs.
  8. Scanned copy of Signature.
  9. SC/ST/PwD Certificate (in the candidate’s name) issued by the competent authority.
  10. OBC (non-creamy layer) Certificate issued by competent authority. Such candidates also need to submit their income proof.
  11. Candidates who apply under the Kashmiri Migrant Quota they need to be submitted their Kashmiri Migrant Certificate issued by the Divisional Commissioner/Relief Commissioner.
  12. Educational Concession Certificate to be submitted by aspirants applying under the CW quota. Such a certificate should be issued by a competent authority.
  13. Sports/ECA Distinction certificate of last three years to be listed in descending order (From 1st April 2015 to 31st March 2018).

So before reporting to the college’s admission office, every student must ensure that they have all required documents with them.

The Admission procedure is still open in Delhi University; however, the new academic session had started last month. The first cut-offs list were announced on 19th June 2018 and the total 2,78,544 aspirants have made payments this year in which 1,44,248 are male applicants, 1,34,297 are women and 29 are other applicants.
