As from this year, for the first time, JEE Advanced will be conducted in online mode, so the CBSE has asked around 18000 plus schools, which has their affiliation under CBSE, to provide JEE Advanced aspirants with computer labs. The facility is given to ensure that students become familiar with the online test pattern and they have no confusion regarding the exam pattern and the application on which they have to give the examination.
The facility will be provided only to the students who have cleared the JEE Mains and have qualified for JEE Advanced, says board.
The JEE Main will be conducted on April 8, 2018, in offline mode and on April 15 and April 16, 2018, in online mode. The JEE Advanced will be conducted on May 20, 2018. As scheduled by IIT Kanpur, the mock tests will be conducted from May 1, 2018, to May 5, 2018. All eligible students can appear for the mock tests on these dates.
In another notification, issued on Wednesday, the CBSE said that every set of question paper will be prepared in a way that every paper possess same difficulty level. The notification says, “The subject experts who have prepared the question papers have certified that the entire syllabus of mathematics, physics and chemistry has been covered in each question set by dividing the syllabus of each subject into an appropriate number of units and choosing an equal number of questions from each unit,”.
