The result of the Indian Institute of Technology Joint Admission Test for M.Sc. (IIT JAM 2020) has been announced by IIT Kanpur. As per the schedule, the result has to declare 4 days later but anyhow exam conducting body has declared the result 4 days ahead of the scheduled date.

The exam was held on 9^th February by IIT Kanpur across the country for getting the admissions to M.Sc., Joint M.Sc.-Ph.D., M.Sc.-Ph.D. dual degree, and other postgraduate programs at the IITs and Integrated Ph.D. degree programs at IISc Bangalore for consolidating science.

"Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur, the Organising Institute for JAM 2020, conducted the examination on February 9, 2020, at various centres in India. A total of 73360 candidates registered for JAM 2020, 62654 candidates (85%) appeared for the examination," said an official statement.

Those candidates who have qualified the exam they can download their scorecards till 31^st March 2020. Candidates can download the same from the official website.

How to Check the Result

1. Visit the official website of IIT JAM.
2. Click on the link available result link on the portal.
3. Provide your login credentials on the JOAPS Portal and submit.
4. After login successfully, your result will be displayed on the screen.
5. Download the same and take a printout for future reference.

A total of 14623 candidates (23% of the appeared candidates) have secured marks above the paper specific cut-offs.
