IIT JAM 2019: Exam Schedule Released, Check Here

IIT Kharagpur had released the schedule for IIT JAM 2019 examinations and exam will be held on 10th February 2019 in two sessions. This year IIT JAM will be conducted by IIT Kharagpur for Biological Sciences, Mathematics, Physics, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Geology and Mathematical Statistics papers in collaboration with eight zones which are IISc Bangalore, IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Kanpur, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Madras and IIT Roorkee.

The online registrations for IIT JAM 2019 will be start from 5th September 2018 and the portal will be open till 10th October 2018 for the registrations. Those candidates who are fulfilling the eligibility criteria and want to appear for IIT JAM 2019 they can apply online on or before 10th October 2018.

IIT JAM Eligibility Criteria

Before apply online for IIT JAM 2019, candidates must ensure that they are filling all eligibility requirements which are given below otherwise they will not be eligible to get admissions

  1. Applicants who want to admit through JAM should have a Bachelor’s degree.
  2. In the qualifying degree, the aggregate marks or CGPA/CPI without rounding-off (taking into account all subjects, including languages and subsidiaries, all years combined) should be at least 55% or 5.5 out of 10 for General/OBC (NCL) category candidates and 50% or 5.0 out of 10 for SC/ST and PwD category candidates.

Note:

  • It will entirely be the responsibility of the Candidate to prove that he/she satisfies the Minimum Educational Qualifications (MEQs) and Eligibility Requirements (ERs) for Admission.
  • The Admitting Institute has the right to cancel, at any stage, the admission of a candidate who is found to have been admitted to a course to which he/she is not entitled, being unqualified or ineligible in accordance with the rules and regulations in force.
