UGC NET 2018 online application is available at the NTA NET portal ntanet.nic.in and applicants can apply online by completing the registration process on or before 30th September 2018. The examination will be conducted by NTA from 9th December to 23rd December 2018 in two shifts.

This year, NTA is conducting the UGC NET examination for the first time before this CBSE was the conducting body for the UGC NET entrance exam on behalf of UGC. Now from Dec 2018 onwards, the UGC- NET (for Eligibility for Assistant Professor only or Junior Research Fellowship & Eligibility for Assistant Professor both) will be conducted by the NTA.

Note: Candidate shall appear at their own cost at the Centre on scheduled examination date and shift as indicated in their Admit Card issued by the NTA. Under no circumstances, the choice of Cities for Centre, Date, Shift and NET Subject provided in the Admit Card shall be changed.

How to Apply for UGC NET 2018

  1. Candidates have to visit UGC NET 2018 official website ntanet.nic.in.
  2. Click on “Fill the Application Form” available at the homepage.
  3. Complete the “New Candidate Registration” by providing the relevant details.
  4. Once the registration complete, application no and password will me send on provided Email.
  5. Fill the application form by login to your account on the portal from the same link (as mentioned above).
  6. After filling up the application form, pay the application fee online through net banking or debit/credit card.
  7. After final submission of the application form take out the final printout for the future aspects.
