Punjab government to provide 45,747 jobs

Under the “Ghar Ghar Rozgar” scheme, the government of Punjab has announced 45,747 vacancies which they want to be filled at the second phase of “Mega Job Mela”.

A job portal is designed in which the job provider and job seeker can register themselves for free. Depending on vacancies and eligibility a candidate can apply for the post. Around 140 events will be held across 56 venues from February 20 to March 8.

There are no restrictions on eligibility criteria for registration, candidates with any qualification can register. Fresher, experienced or even the students who are in the final year of their course can also register themselves.

The job portal is designed in a manner that it will show vacancies based on a candidates qualification. Job seekers and job provider can shortlist their interesting opportunity.

How to register:

  1. Visit the official website. Click Here
  2. Click on “Jobs” icon, present on the website.
  3. Register yourself as “Job Provider” or “Job Seeker”
  4. While registering, a candidate will have to provide their personal details, qualifications etc.
  5. Identity of candidate will be verified by OTP which will be mailed or texted on their mail Id or phone number

Important details:

  • Candidate can apply to a maximum of 3 employers in a day
  • Candidates can apply only 10 days in a month
  • After registration, candidates can choose the venue and date of interview, if available.

As per news, a total of 1,689 employers and 73,200 candidates have registered themselves at the portal.
