GATE 2020: Result Announced, Check Here

IIT Delhi has announced the result of GATE 2020 at its official website i.e. available on Apps Gate candidate’s portal. This year, more than 8.5 lakh candidates had registered for the GATE 2020 examination and among them over 6.8 lakh appeared for the exams which were held in the month of February 2020.

The qualified candidates can download their scorecard from the portal i.e. GATE Online Application Processing System (GOAPS). This year GATE examination was conducted for 25 subjects in which the highest cut off is for Geophysics. The cut off for general candidates is 51.9, for OBC (NCL) is 46.7, and for SC, ST, and PwD candidates are 34.6.

The official GATE 2020 Score Card can be downloaded from the GOAPS site soon by the qualified candidates only..

Importance of GATE 2020 Results:

  1. GATE 2020 score is valid for the next three years from the date of the result announced and the successful candidates can make use of the scorecards for various educational and employment purpose.
  2. This includes admission to prestigious IISc and IITs in their Master's programmes. In the job front, various Public Sector Undertakings and Cabinet Secretariat shall appoint candidates with GATE 2020 in their personnel.

  2. Login to your account from the portal by entering your Email ID/Enrolment No. with the password and solve the captcha.
  3. After login to your account, you will get your result.
