Students who are willing to participate in CAT 2018 can now register for CAT 2018 from 8th August 2018. The official notification was released yesterday i.e. 28th July 2018 by the IIM Calcutta. However, the exam date was announced in the month of June and CAT 2018 will be conducted on 25th November 2018 (Sunday) in two sessions. Those candidates who want to pursue their post-graduation in management they can apply online for CAT 2018 from 8th August 2018 and the online registration will close on 19th September 2018.
CAT 2018 will be conducted across approximately 147 cities centers and students are allowed to choose among those 4 test centers as per their priority. Official tutorial to understand the format of the test will be available on the CAT website from 17th October 2018.

CAT 2018 Eligibility Criteria
To appear for CAT-2018 candidates should have to fulfill all the eligibility criteria which are given below:
- Candidates must have completed their Bachelor's Degree with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA (for General and OBC categories for SC/ST/PWD categories they should have secured 45% marks) by any recognized University / Institution.
- Those candidates who appearing for final year of Bachelor's Degree or equivalent qualification and those who have completed their degree requirements but still result is not declared they can apply for CAT 2018.
- During registration or applying for CAT 2018, one thing must be cleared that IIMs may verify eligibility at various stages of the selection process, the details of which are available at the official website.

Important Instructions:
- Candidates must ensure that they have a valid and unique email account and a mobile phone number throughout the selection process.
- Candidates must pay the registration fee through online payment modes only (credit cards, debit cards and net banking).
- Candidates will be allotted exactly 60 minutes in each section for answering questions and they will not be allowed to switch from one section to another while answering questions in a section.
- Some questions in each section may not be of objective type. Instead, direct answers will have to be typed on the screen.
