TISSNET 2019: Admit Cards for MA Programmes to be Released on 26 or 27 December 2018

TISSNET 2019 admit cards for MA programmes will be released on or after 26th December 2019. Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) is conducting its National Eligibility Test (TISSNET) every year for admission to its undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.

This year TISSNET 2019 will be held on Sunday, 13th January 2019, from 2:00 P.M. to 3:40 P.M. at 39 centres located in different parts of the country. The exam will be computer based test .i.e. online mode. The complete schedule of the exam is given below in a tabular form.

Important Points:

  1. There is no negative marking in the TISSNET.
  2. The weightage for NET, PIT and PI for the preparation of final merit lists for General as well as for Reserved Category candidates is NET – 40%, PIT – 30% and PI – 30%.
  3. Candidates are advised to indicate their preferences carefully because merit list will be prepared on the basis of NET, PIT and PI merits and the preferences indicated by the candidates at the time of filling up the online application form.
