QS Ranking 2019: Indian University Ranking Released, IIT Bombay Tops the List

First Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) Indian university list has been released in which 75 premiere institutes of the country have been placed in the QS India ranking 2019. IIT Bombay has topped the list of Indian Universities and the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bengaluru bags the second rank.

“One of seven Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT) in the top 10, IIT Bombay was the highest scorer for both academic and employer reputation, two of the metrics used to compile the ranking” said in an official statement.

Times World University Rankings 2019 Released, 49 Indian Universities Listed

In the top ten Indian Institutes ranking, 7 institutes are IITs. Apart from IITs and IISc, University of Hyderabad and University of Delhi are also in the top ten rankings. Previously, the Times Higher Education (THE) had released the world university rankings for 2019 in which 1250 universities are listed from 86 countries worldwide and among Indian universities, Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore is the highest ranked university of India and made it to the 251-300 rank bands.
