Osmania University has a planned to set up International School of Journalism, said Vice-Chancellor of Osmania University, Prof. Ramachandram. The university has plans to start an to mark the centenary year of the varsity.

The VC made this declaration at an ‘Interactive Meet with Editors’  at Centre for International Programmes, Osmania University on March 7, 2017. He further stated that the establishment of International School of Journalism was made by Department of Communication and Journalism. 

The centenary year would focus on bolstering university-industry linkages, better research culture, good governance, strengthening infrastructure and academic reforms. With an objective to ensure the smooth conduct of centenary celebrations, the varsity will take all the stakeholders into confidence.
