All India AME Entrance Examination (AIAEE) 2019 registrations has been start. This year AIAEE examination will be conducted in two days for which two different exam dates are decided. The applications form is available online on the AIAEE admission portal; interested candidates may apply online on or before 15th March 2019.

All India AME Entrance Examination (AIAEE) is one of the most popular national level aviation entrance exams in India, through which candidates can secure admissions at Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME). It is regarded internationally as one of the most challenging aviation admission tests.

Eligibility Criteria:

Before applying online for AIAEE, candidates must check that they are fulfilling the all eligibility criteria which are given below:

  1. Candidate should have completed his/her 10+2 class with an aggregate of 50% marks in Physics and Mathematics or completed three years diploma in engineering or a higher qualification in Science with Physics and Mathematics.
  2. The minimum age requirement is 16 years from the date of the beginning of the classes. The upper age limit is 24 years.
  3. Those candidates who are appearing in 10+2, they are also eligible to apply for the exam.
  4. Student has to clear Color Blindness Test.

Exam Pattern:

AIAEE exam duration will be of 2 hours, there are total 100 MCQ (multiple choice questions) will be in examination. Examination will consist 4 sections named as Maths, Physics, Chemistry and General Knowledge. Exam pattern & syllabus will be same for 10+2, 3 years diploma holders and degree holders. The medium of the paper will be in English only.

Candidate will get 4 marks for each correct response & 1 mark will be deducted for each incorrect response or multi-responses.

Selection Procedure:

Students who are interested to take admission have to apply online for AIAEE through the official website. On the basis of their merit, the student will get admission offer letter. Following documents should be carried at the time of admission.

  1. Rs. 50,000/- DD in favor of Indian Institute of Aircraft Engineering payable at New Delhi.
  2. Class X original Mark sheet & Certificate.
  3. Class XII Mark sheet & Certificate.
  4. Migration certificate.
  5. Eight recent passport size color photographs of Applicant.
  6. Recent passport size photograph of parents / guardian.
  7. Medical form (color blindness) dually signed by a registered physician.

After the counseling, candidate's admission will be confirmed.
