The NEET (UG)-2017 was conducted on Sunday, the 7th May, 2017 and results were declared on 23^rd June, 2017. CBSE conducted exam and was responsible for conduct of the entrance examination, declaration of result and providing and to conduct counseling for 15% All India Quota Seats.

Since the decalaration of results studnets get excited about counseling which is a very sign for students who have worked so hard to get qualified for the exam. Below we have mentioned all the important details required by you for the purpose of counseling in NEET 2017. Commencement of MBBS/BDS for first year candidates shall begin from 4th August, 2017.

The counseling of NEET 2017 for admissions to MBBS and BDS seats in All India Quota will begin from July 3 onwards. This is as per the schedule released by the Medical counseling Committee, which can be seen below.

States will be conducting separate two-round counselling process for admission to state quota seats in government and private colleges. In order to participate in NEET Counseling 2017, qualified candidates will have to first register themselves. For all minute details read the news.

Step by Step Guide for NEET Online Counseling

Initial Process:

1. Registration, Submission of Choices, view indicative seat allotment, modify & locking of choice.
2. First round of seat allotment made.

All about ROUND-I of NEET UG 2017 Counseling:

Now, whether seat is allotted?

1. If No: Candidates who have not been allotted any seat in 1st round  can surely opt for round 2.
2. If Yes: Report to the Allotted Institute, complete Admission formalities or you can also opt for counseling in round 2.

If you are willing to participate in 2nd round then you must following eligibility:

1. You have given willingness to participate in 2nd Round of Allotment and you mentioned yes in 1st Round. OR
2. You have not been allotted any seat in 1st round of allotment Round-II.

All about ROUND-II of NEET UG 2017 Counseling:

In this round, newly added/vacant seats are likely to be available after the conversion of Vacant Seats in category/subcategory and up-gradation of previously allotted seats with newly offered seats.

Points to Consider:

1. Earlier Choices submitted by the candidate will be treated null and void.
2. Fresh Choices submission for seat allotment in 2nd round is mandatory.

Process for Round 2:

1. Fill fresh choices, view, modify & lock choices as done in round 1.
2. 2nd Round of seat allotment is made.
3. If seat Is allotted than Report to the Allotted Institute which is very necessary because if candidate allotted seat fails to join the allotted college/seat within stipulated time, before last date of joining (as per counseling schedule), the allotted seat will be cancelled and candidate shall not be eligible to take part in further Rounds of the online Counseling.
4. If seat is not allotted than, you may wait for third round of counseling which is completely dependent on seats which are vacant.

Remember: Facility for Registration will be available before Round-1 only, on dates as specified in Counseling Schedule.
