UGC NET 2018 registration has been started from today and candidates can apply online from the official website of UGC NET 2018. From this year UGC NET will be conducted by the new testing agency named as “National Testing Agency (NTA)”. Earlier, UGC NET was conducted by CBSE in 84 subjects at 91 selected Cities of spread across the country.
The National Eligibility Test (NET) is conducted for determining the eligibility of Indian nationals for the eligibility for “Only Assistant Professor” or “Junior Research Fellowship & Eligibility for Assistant Professor” both in Indian Universities and Colleges. Those candidates who want to appear for the UGC NET 2018, they can apply online on or before 30th September 2018.

UGC NET 2018: First Exam To Be Conducted In December By NTA
There will be consist two paper for which candidates have to appear simultaneously within the gap of 30 min. The detailed exam pattern is given below in tabular form:

The exam will be held in two sessions, the first session and second session, the first session will start from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM and the second session will start from 11 AM to 1:00 PM for the first shift similarly for the second shift from 2:00 PM to 5:30 PM. The exam will be of 3 hrs. and no candidate will be allowed to leave the examination hall before the 3 hrs.
How to Apply for UGC NET 2018
- Candidates have to visit UGC NET 2018 official website ntanet.nic.in.
- Click on “Fill the Application Form” available at the homepage.
- Complete the “New Candidate Registration” by providing the relevant details.
- Once the registration complete, application no and password will me send on provided Email.
- Fill the application form by login to your account on the portal from the same link (as mentioned above).
- After filling up the application form, pay the application fee online through net banking or debit/credit card.
- After final submission of the application form take out the final printout for the future aspects.
