Basic Details

All India AME Entrance Examination (AIAEE) is one of the most popular national level aviation entrance exams in India, through which candidates can secure admissions at Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME). It is regarded internationally as one of the most challenging aviation admission tests. AIAEE 2017 is conducted by Indian Institute of Aircraft Engineering, Delhi.

The candidate who wants to get admission in AME course should appear in this exam. AIAEE 2017 will be held in pen and paper mode. Students who are interested in AIAEE should be 10+2 from a non-medical stream. Appearing students also apply for this exam. The application will be in online and offline mode. For online candidate has to visit www.iiae.in & for offline mode has to visit our registered center. The question will be in MCQ (Multiple Choice Questions) type.

Eligibility

For apply in AIAEE you must have fulfilled these Eligibility Criteria which is given below:

  1. Candidate passed minimum 10+2 class with an aggregate of 50% marks in Physics and Mathematics Or Three years diploma in engineering or a higher qualification in Science with Physics and Mathematics.
  2. The minimum age requirement is 16 years from the date of the beginning of the classes. The upper age limit is 24 years.
  3. Those candidates who are appearing 10+2, they are also eligible to apply for this exam.
  4. Student has to clear Color Blindness Test.




Exam Pattern

AIAEE is 1 hour 30 minutes duration exam, total 90 MCQ (Multiple Choice Questions) is ask in this examination. These questions were asked from different subjects like Mental Ability, Math, Physics, English and General Knowledge. Exam pattern & syllabus will be same for 10+2, 3 years diploma holders and degree holders. Paper will be in English medium only.

There will be negative marketing, 4 marks for each correct response & 1 mark will be deducted for each incorrect response or multi-responses.

Selection Procedure

Students who are interested to take admission has to apply online for AIAEE through the official website. On the basis of their merit, the student will get admission offer letter. Following documents should be carried at the time of admission.

  1. Rs. 25,000/- DD in favor of Indian Institute of Aircraft Engineering payable at New Delhi.
  2. Class X original Mark sheet & Certificate.
  3. Class XII Mark sheet & Certificate.
  4. Migration certificate.
  5. Eight recent passport size color photographs of Applicant.
  6. Recent passport size photograph of parents / guardian.
  7. Medical form (color blindness) dually signed by a registered physician.

After counseling, candidate admission will be confirmed.




Counselling Procedure

To get admission in Indian Institute of Aircraft Engineering the last phase you have to face is the counselling procedure after which admission will be confirmed. There is some documents required that you have to carry at the counselling centre declared by the exam conducting body.

Preparation Strategy

Don't go for last night study for any entrance exams because it's not a subjective one so you have to do regular studies to beat this type of entrance exam easily. There are some useful tips given below that may help you in all aspects.

  • Make time table of all the subject which asked in the examination and follow it regularly till the examination.
  • Practice all the previous year's papers as much as you can and clear your concepts wisely.
  • Cover all the Topics which is given in the Syllabus so that you will be able to overcome the difficulty level.
  • Don't be so stressed for the examination, always keep calm and be Relaxed for it and you should Prepare your mind-set in a positive manner.
  • Practice more and more so that you will become habitual to solve the questions which help in brush up your concepts and you will be also understood Time Management.

There is not such a vast exam syllabus of AIAEE like other technical entrance exams. In AIAEE there is basic 10+2 exam syllabus candidate should be covered and well prepared for it. The name of the subjects that candidate have to prepare is given below:
