Rashtreeya Vidyalaya College of Engineering (abbreviated as RVCE and commonly known as R.V. College of Engineering, Rāshtrīya Vidyālaya Tāntrika Mahāvidyālaya) is a private technical co-educational college located in Bangalore, Karnataka, India. The R.V. College of Engineering was established in 1963 with three engineering departments namely Civil, Mechanical and Electrical but now institute has 11 departments in engineering, one school in architecture, and a Master of Computer Applications department.
R.V. College of Engineering is affiliated to the Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belgaum and all the undergraduate programmes are granted academic autonomy. Currently, RVCE offers 12 Undergraduate engineering programmes, 21 Master Degree programmes and Doctoral Studies (Ph.D.). The institute’s departments are accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA) and its all programmes are approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
