Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law (abbreviated as RGNUL) is a National Law University located in Patiala, Punjab, India. It was established in 2006 and started functioning from its Headquarters-Mohindra Kothi, The Mall, Patiala w.e.f. 26 May 2006. From the session of the 2013-2014 university has moved in its permanent 50-acre campus which is located near village Sidhuwal, Bhadson Road, Patiala, Punjab.
Currently, RGNUL offers the five-year undergraduate programme in B.A. LL.B (Honours) and a postgraduate degree in LLM. The admission to RGNUL is done through Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) for the 196 seats in Undergraduates and 40 seats in the Postgraduate programme. The University also offers Ph.D.
Vision: "Our endeavor is to serve the society through reforms in legal services by way of preparing professionally competent lawyers, inquisitive researchers, able administrators, conscientious judicial officers, and above all, socially responsible citizens, who shall be whole- heartedly and continuously engaged in the process of nation building . . ."
