The Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode (abbreviated as IIM Kozhikode or IIMK) is one of the 19 Indian Institutes of Management set up by the Central Government of India. Institute of Management Kozhikode (IIMK) was established on 1996 and was the fifth IIM to be established in the country. The first batch of IIM Kozhikode was started with 42 students in 1997 and current batch has strength of 384 odd students that shows Institute has grown tremendously over the years after the first batch.
Initially, the Institute campus was commenced at the temporary campus at the National Institute of Technology Calicut for three years and the Institute moved to its new campus in January 2003. IIM Kozhikode Campus is located in Kunnamangalam, a suburban area of Kozhikode (earlier known as Calicut), Kerala. The campus is set up over 100 acres and has 13 hostels to house around 800 students who are opted to stay on campus. IIM Kozhikode offers Post Graduate Programme, Fellowship Programme and Executive Post Graduate Programme in Management.

It aspires to integrate concepts with applications and values, thereby nurturing dependable, capable, caring and fair-minded individuals who will contribute towards the development of communities.
