Academic and motivation to sports can be provided. management is strict. College timing is hectic.rest is ok
Entrance examination which got me into PSIT is AKTU (formerly known as UPTU) and my rank was somewhere near 120000. My parents asked me to opt for this college.
As the main course or syllabus is governed by the state borad so is same at every AKTU college and is good. About the extra courses which are being taught to the PSIT students are mainly focused on the companies demand that come for placement.
Faculty quality depends upon the branch in this college. Some faculties are good as they have got a good command over their subjects and i would say some are here just for earning salary.

To be very frank they are preety good and i guess that is one of the thing why PSIT has its reputation.
Their are a bunch of small scale events that are being organised. But the major event is the college fest which goes by the name "ignitia" and also the freshers eve. Sports tournament are also organised every year.
it is around 12000 per year. I managed but yes a bit expensive.
Hostel is good. Mess ok
Scholarship, as provided by the UP government, can be availed.
i have no connection with alumni..but again that depends upon one's social interaction. No alumni are called for interaction with the pursuing students.
its ok may not be your dream college but that completely dependds on how one choose to survive. Labs are their in decent condition but the lab attendents are not good. I haven't faced any good one. Sports is their but it becomes difficult for the non-hostelers as the college ends at 4;50 so no time left to actually enjoy sports. Other competion not very active. Gender ratio is fine.
