JEE Mains is an engineering entrance exam which is conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).

How to calculate your expected rank for the rank prediction?
Candidates are required to know about the marks in JEE Main. Students may use the JEE Main answer key to know their JEE Main score.

  • Students need to have answer key to 90 questions asked in the exam.
  • The aspirants gets 4 marks for the correct answer he makes and 1/4 mark is deducted for any answer he has marked.
  • No Marks are deducted for unanswered questions.

Following Changes were made in JEE Mains Exam by the MHRD or Ministry of Human Resource Development:

  • Class 12th marks, will not be given any weightage in the calculation of JEE Mains 2017 ranks.
  • The aspirants who wish to seek admission in the Indian Institutes of Technology, Indian Institutes of Information Technology, National Institutes of Technology and other Centrally Funded Technical Institutes (IITs/IIITs/NITs/CFTIs), should have secured an aggregate of at lease 75% marks in the main class 12th examinations or should be in the top 20 percentile in the 12th class examination conducted by various Boards across the country.
  • The criteria has been relaxed up to 65% for candidates belong to the ST and SC categories.
