Inderprastha Engineering College (IPEC) is one of the famous and renowned private institutes in the NCR region of UP was set up as a self-financed institution to cater to the demands of technical education. IPEC is approved by AICTE and affiliated to Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (Earlier it was known as Uttar Pradesh Technical University), Lucknow. It was established in 2000. Formerly IPEC was known as National Institute Of Engineering and Technology (NIET). In the year 2001, it’s renamed from NIET to IPEC. Inderprastha Engineering College is the fable of excellence, an NBA Accredited, ISO 9001:2008 certified institute is ranked amongst the top 10 colleges of Dr. APJAKTU. The vision of IPEC "National leadership in Human Resource Development, Excellence in Education and impacting Society through Globally Competent Technologies" which shows its dedication towards technologies and encourage one for the aspiring engineers in NCR . It offers six Undergraduate Programs(B.Tech) in Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering and Civil Engineering it also includes Postgraduate Programs (M.Tech.) in three disciplines i.e. ECE (specialization: VLSI Design), ME (specialization: Production Engineering), CSE to fulfill the varied aspirations of its strength of over 3000 learners. The lush green sprawling campus of IPEC spread over 11.36 Acres and located close to National Capital in the midst of Sahibabad Industrial Area. The nearest Bus stand is at the distance of only 2 Km i.e. Anand Vihar ISBT and only 500m away from Vaishali Metro Station.
