JEE Advanced 2018: Check The JoSAA 2018 Counselling Schedule Here
The result of JEE Advanced 2018 was announced by IIT Kanpur yesterday, in which 18,138 candidates have qualified (16,062 boys and 2,076 girls). The candidates can do registrations from 15th June 2018 and the first round of seat allocation will be announced on June 27. The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) will conduct the counselling for the admissions to 23 Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT), 31 National Institutes of Technology (NITs), 23 Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs), 23 other Government Funded Technical Institutes (other-GFTIs) and IIEST. The counselling schedule of JoSAA 2018 is given below for which candidates do registration from the 15th June 2018 and will end on 25th June 2018. The order of the documents must be in the same order as given below: So, those candidates who qualify the JEE Advanced or JEE Mains they should do their registration on the portal before the end date and report at the centre for the choice filling. For IITs:
a. For state-wise central list of SCs, please refer http://socialjustice.nic.in/UserView/index?mid=76750

c. The OBC-NCL certificate should be dated on or after April 1, 2018. The certificate should clearly mention that the candidate belongs to non-creamy layer and the caste of the candidate must be in the state-wise central list of OBCs given at http://www.ncbc.nic.in/User_Panel/CentralListStateView.aspxFor NITs and other GFTIs:
a. “State code of eligibility” is determined using qualifying examination certificate.
b. Indian nationals who passed the qualifying examination from Nepal/Bhutan or an institution abroad must bring a passport. Permanent address given in the passport will determine state code.
c. The candidates having Senior Secondary Certificate from the National Open School must bring the proof of place of examination center of the final examination to determine the state code.
