JNU Likely To Start B.Tech And Management Course From 2018

In an attempt to increase its portfolio, JNU may also provide engineering and management courses in its college. According to Mr. Baweja, Section Officer, Admissions (JNU), “We have got the approval in principle to start B.Tech programs, however, the other modalities are being worked upon. It’s not certain, but we may start B.Tech batch from this year.”

There isn't final confirmation regarding this news but the students who are aspiring to take B.Tech courses from JNU should keep visiting JNU’s official website.

JNU provides postgraduate programs and advanced programs, only the School of Languages provides some undergraduate courses in foreign languages. After the final decision, this will be the first time when students can get an undergraduate course, in engineering and management, at JNU. For admissions, JNU is not planning to conduct its own test but will take students depending upon their score in national level engineering tests. Most probably the admissions will be taken considering JEE Main marks.

The new undergraduate courses, if started, will be offered under School of Engineering, JNU. Details such as college fees, number of seats, admission procedure are still not finalized.
