Haryana Government To Setup University Named After Guru Gobind Singh
Chief Minister of Haryana made an announcement on Sunday, 30th April 2017, regarding establishing a university in the northern part of the state which would be given named after Guru Gobind Singh Ji, the tenth Sikh Guru. Series of programmes will conclude with a state-level function which is to be held on 17th September 2017 in Sirsa district, by the Sikh community and other organizations to mark the Prakashotsav. A Sikh museum, an art school and great memorial will be set up at Lohgarh, Yamunanagar district as a souvenir for the Sikh warrior, Baba Banda Singh Bahadur. Other Initiatives:
