DU Admissions 2019: Applications Start For Undergraduate Programmes, Apply Now

Delhi University online registration for the admissions to undergraduate merit basis courses has been started from today i.e. 31st May 2019 and eligible candidates can apply till 14th June 2019. This year admission process is a little bit delayed last year registration process was started from 15th May 2018 and available till 7th June 2018. Those aspirants who completed their 10+2 and fulfill all eligibility criteria they can apply online from the official Website.

There will be 10% seats has been an increase from this year for economically weaker sections (EWS) which is close to 6,000 seats, which also increase the total number of seats for undergraduate courses to 62,000.

Know How to Apply

  1. Complete the registration process from the official website.
  2. After successful registration, candidates need to login to the admission portal for their respective portal.
  3. Login to your account by entering your registered email ID and password.
  4. After the login, a declaration will be displayed. Candidates must read it and click on continue.
  5. The online application form is divided into 8 sections - Personal details, Bank Details, Academic Details, Merit-Based Course selection, Entrance Based Course selection, sport band emails and ECA.

Application fee

  1. The application fee of merit-based admission for General/ OBC/EWS category is INR 100 while it is INR 50 for SC/ ST category.
  2. The application fee can be paid by debit or credit card/ net-banking in online mode and through bank challan at any branch.

Before applying for the Delhi University candidates must check the documents required at the time of registration.

Required Documents:

The list of documents required at the time of Delhi University registration is given below:

  1. Candidate should have scanned passport size photograph (size of the photograph should be of 2x2 inches (5 mm x 5 mm))
  2. Candidates self-signed scanned original signature.
  3. Class X certificate/mark-Sheet (for Date of Birth verification purpose)
  4. Self-attested Class XII Mark-Sheet (if the result has been announced). In case the Mark-Sheet is not issued by the Board then the self-attested Net copy of the Mark-Sheet downloaded from the respective board’s website should be uploaded.
  5. Self-attested copy of SC/ST/OBC/PwD/KM/CW valid certificate (if applicable).
  6. Self-attested copies of Sports/ECA certificates (if applicable).
  7. EWS Certificate issued by SDM certifying the applicant can claim reservation under this category

Note: The above documents list was required to upload last year by the students. There might be some changes and will be clear once the University releases the prospectus/handbook for the registration process.
