NIRF 2018: Ranking Of IITs In India As Per NIRF Ranking 2018
MHRD released the NIRF Ranking for 2018 in 9 different categories on 3rd April 2018. In the list of top 100 Engineering colleges, IIT Madras tops the list whereas in overall top 100 colleges list IISc, Bangalore tops the list. From the list of top 100 Engineering colleges, FillandFind shorted a list of IITs Ranking as per NIRF 2018 ranking in which IIT Madras followed by IIT Bombay and IIT Delhi. However, 6 IITs unable to get a position in NIRF Ranking 2018 which is quite interesting. The IITs are governed by the Institutes of Technology Act, 1961 which has declared them as institutes of national importance. The Union HRD Minister is the ex-officio Chairperson of IIT Council. There are in total 23 IITs in India. Since all the IITs have proved their excellent academic records with high placements, the NIRF ranking is made to rank these IITs among themselves.
