IGNOU Is All Set To Launch A Course On Spiritualism And Moral Education From August 2017

IGNOU is all set to launch the courses on spiritualism and moral education. IGNOU said that it shall launch the courses from August 2017. Interestingly,  syllabus for the course Pracheen Bhartiya Sabhyata Aivam Sanskriti is also in the final stage of approval.

The Vice-Chancellor of IGNOU, Ravindra Kumar, the varsity is mulling to establish a Swaminarayan Chair at its campus, and start value education and spiritualism programmes  He specified that all centres of Swaminarayan Sansthan in India and abroad will cater as study centres for IGNOU in running the course, as varsity is mulling to launch these programmes in collaboration with Swaminarayan Sansthan.

Swaminarayan Sansthan also welcomed the move and said that they too are looking forward to teach today's generation the rich culture and values of India.

  • IGNOU announced that it would offer 50% fee waiver for the candidates who come under Below Poverty Line.
  • The fee waiver is applicable only to the six programmes offered by the varsity.
  • The application cost is free for these candidates for these six programmes.
  • All of these six programmes come under agriculture stream.

The candidates who are interested in applying for various programmes offered by IGNOU must note that June 30, 2017, is the deadline to complete the registration process for various programmes.
