Candidates are allowed to change only a few details in the GATE application form such as name, date of birth, qualifying exam and qualifying degree. How to apply and make a correction in GATE 2018 application ?

1. Candidates need to check the type of correction they require to change.
2. Candidates need to scan the associate document required to facilitate the required correction.
3. Candidate need to send a request from email-id candidates have registered with GOAPS/GATE to the respective zonal office.
4. Please mention the Enrollment ID, nature of corrections and associated scanned copy of the document, in the email.
5. For details of zonal gate offices and type of proof required against your type of correction check the tables below.
6. Write an email to the respective email ID of the zonal centre mentioning information that needs to correct, attach the scanned documents and send the email.
