Entire Batch Of AMU M.Sc Biotechnology Qualified In GATE 2018

All 14 students of AMU (Aligarh Muslim University) M.Sc Biotechnology has qualified the GATE 2018. Not just qualifying but all the students also managed to secure rank within 200. Badal Singh Chauhan secured the highest rank (Ranked 9th in GATE) among other students in AMU M.Sc Biotechnology. The result of GATE 2018 was declared on March 16, 2018, and the scorecard was declared on March 21, 2018.

The qualifying marks for GATE 2018 Biotechnology was 27.9 for the unreserved category, 25.1 for OBC-NCL and 18.5 for SC/ST/PWD.

Various PSUs (Public Sector Undertakings) give job based on GATE qualification. Also, qualifying GATE is a mandatory requirement to take admissions and/or financial support for Master’s programs or Doctoral programs in the institutes supported by the MHRD and other Government agencies.

According to Prof Asad Ullah Khan (Coordinator, Interdisciplinary Biotechnology Unit) not only the students but the faculty members also worked for the same and provided students with necessary training and counselling. He also congratulated the students for their excellent performance.
