The Krishna University (KRU) And The Indian Institute Of Technology (IIT-B) Join Hands To Introduce The Spoken Tutorials

The Krishna University (KRU) and the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT-B) recently signed a pact to introduce the “Spoken Tutorials”, launched under the initiative of the National Mission on Education by the Ministry of Human Resource Development. The MoU was signed on Monday,  Jan 23, 2017, by KRU’s Vice-Chancellor S. Rama Krishna Rao and IIT-Bombay’s official Momammed Khasim Khan, at the university’s campus.

Speaking on the pact, Mr. Khan stated,

“The courses being offered at the Spoken Tutorials have been recognized by the National Assessment and Accredited Council. The courses designed by the IIT-B are most sought after by the industry, including renowned software companies”. Further adding to the statement, he said, “We have trained 1.2 lakh students on various computer languages and computing skills through the Spoken Tutorial, which are completely an open learning source, in Andhra Pradesh in the last six years. The IIT-B’s Spoken Tutorial will issue certificate for those who complete the respective course”.

Addressing the IIT-B representatives and KRU faculty members including KRU’s HRD Wing Coordinator – Rama Sekhar Reddy and other officials, Mr. Rao said that Spoken Tutorial is a great opportunity for the students to enrich their talent that is essential for the industry training. The initiative has been taken for the students of both the main campus and the affiliated colleges, thus benefitting thousands of students.
