ICAR 2018: All India Entrance Examination Cancelled

ICAR’s 23rd online all India entrance examination has been cancelled after the approval of competent authority in the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR). The exam was held on 22nd and 23rd June 2018. However, the reason behind the cancellation of the exam is for administrative reasons.

ICAR conducting the online all India entrance examination every year for the admission to undergraduate, postgraduate and Ph.D. programmes. There are 4 Deemed Universities, 64 Institutions, 15 National Research Centres, 6 National Bureaux and 13 Directorates/Project Directorates participating in ICAR’s online all India entrance examination.

Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) is an autonomous organization under the Department of Agricultural Research and Education (DARE), Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Government of India. Formerly known as Imperial Council of Agricultural Research, it was established on 16 July 1929 as a registered society under the Societies Registration Act, 1860 in pursuance of the report of the Royal Commission on Agriculture. The ICAR has its headquarters at New Delhi.

In the official order, it is mentioned to be exam conducted again and the notification regarding re-examination will be issued separately on the official website of ICAR.
