Today i.e. 26th March, 2017 GATE-2017 exam results have been declared. It was a long awaited result which surprisingly is released a day before the actual scheduled date. Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee has released the results and has also said through an official notification that score cards shall also be released soon.

How to check your exam GATE 2017 Results?

The candidates can follow these steps to check their GATE 2017 results:

1. First of all, candidate has to visit the official website http://appsgate.iitr.ac.in/ to check the results.
2. Enter your registration details of GATE 2017-
   • Username: Enrollment ID/Email Address (Enrollment ID sent during registration or Email Address used during registration).
   • Password: GOAPS password.
   • Enter the Security word ( Captcha)
3. Once logged in, you can check your results.

Importance of GATE 2017 Results:

1. Gate 2017 score is valid for next three years from today and the successful candidates can make use of the score cards for various educational and employment purpose.
2. This includes admission to prestigious IISc and IITs in their Master's programmes. In job front, various Public Sector Undertakings and Cabinet Secretariat shall appoint candidates with GATE 2017 in their personnel.
