Fortis Healthcare Helpline For Students To Cope Up With Exam Stress Launched

Exam Stress is very common among students during preparation for the competitive exam. To cope up with this Fortis Healthcare has relaunched its national helpline programme for the benefit of the students and parents.

 

The students or parents can call on +918376804102 between 9 am to 5 pm with queries related to stress, mental well-being, exam tips or even to consult a team of experts and behavioral psychologists.

 

A counselor shall be available 7 days a week for mentoring and emotionally helping them by providing crisis intervention and answer anybody who is struggling to cope with exam-related doubts and concerns.

He further explained that the students could do meditation, play games, go for a walk and listen to music to relieve stress and make the mind peaceful. Meditation increases memory and concentration power. One of the reputed psychiatrists said that memory pills do not work, and the students should make a revision schedule to memorize a topic.

 Dr Samir Parikh, director, Department of Mental Health and Behavioural Sciences at Fortis Healthcare, advised the students that

The students make a schedule or a regular study plan and stick to it. The study table must be organized and uncluttered, the same applies to a clean bed for a relaxed sleep. While studying, take breaks every 45 minutes to realign your thoughts and absorb what the students studied. It's a good idea to take a walk, talk to a friend, play a game or listen to music.
