CBSE Topper Raksha Gopal Gives Tips For Board Examination
CBSE topper Raksha Gopal gives tips for board examination. Raksha Gopal passed class 12 board exams in the year 2017 from humanities stream. She topped CBSE board with a percentage of 99.6 percent, scored 100 in three subjects and 99 in two subjects. She is now pursuing BA (Hons) Political Science with minor in Economics from Delhi University’s Lady Shri Ram College. Raksha Gopal believes that the current marks moderation policy is not fair. Giving 1 or 2 grace marks is ok but giving 15-20 marks is something she finds unjust to the meritorious students. She says, “Increasing one or two marks still sounds fine in order to round figure the score. But increasing 15 to 20 marks is a complete injustice for those who would have studied harder for the exam. Raksha says, “Many believe that toppers belong only from science stream, however, subjects in humanities are equally high scoring. Most students efforts are undermined as it seems that scoring a perfect 100, in theory, is not possible. But I did score well”. Raksha shares some tips which could help students score well in their upcoming examinations: Studying for long continuous hours is not a good idea. A student must take breaks in studying hours otherwise they may feel stressed out. Now, when she is in college says, “College life is obviously a bit different and difficult as well. But as you have entered a bigger arena, you have more opportunities to grab and prove yourself. It is a beautiful new adventurous phase of life”.
