NIRF 2017 Ranking To Be Released Today Giving List Of Top Of Colleges In India For Management, Enegineering And Pharmacy

Today i.e. on April 3rd, 2017 the NIRF ranking shall be released. Its stands for National Institutional Ranking Framework and holds a significance value now among students while choosing a university or college for the desired course. Though its release the ranking only for engineering, pharmacy and management colleges. It also releases the list of top 100 Indian universities which is very useful to make the decision for the students perspective.

Though the NIRF website officials says that the details are yet to be published until the time of writing this news. Once the list is updated detailed information shall be delivered to you and concerned information shall be updated here.

The importance of NIRF Ranking:

The Framework is approved by the MHRD and launched by Ministry of Human Resource Development thus making it significant at the national level. The parameters are very relevant to the perception of Indian students thus giving him or her a list which they can truly rely and trust on.

Below we have mentioned various ranking parameters followed by Ministry of Human resource while shortlisting the colleges.

Parameters for ranking Colleges in India:

  • Teaching, Learning & Resources:
    It includes Student Strength including Doctoral Students, Faculty-student ratio with emphasis on permanent faculty (FSR), Combined metric for Faculty with PhD (or equivalent) and Experience (FQE), Total Budget and Its Utilisation: (CBTU)
  • Research and Professional Practice:
    It contains Combined metric for Publications (PU), Combined metric for Quality of Publications (QP), IPR and Patents: Filed, Published, Granted and Licensed (IPR), Footprint of Projects and Professional Practice And Executive Development Programs (FPPP):
  • Graduation Outcomes:
    The various metrics included in this parameter are Metric for University Examinations, Metric for Graduating Students Admitted Into Top Universities, Metric for Number of PhD Students Graduated.and Combined % for Placement, Higher Studies, and Entrepreneurship:
