As the date for NEET 2018 is approaching, NEET aspirants are facing doubts like whether the NEET 2018 question paper will be different for different languages, as was the case last year. The CBSE has submitted its report to the Supreme Court mentioning that there will be only one question paper which will be translated into different languages to ensure same difficulty level of paper among all students. The submission was approved by a Supreme Court Bench comprising Justices Arun Mishra and Abdul Nazeer.

“The Board has decided that the same question paper will be set for all the examinees, for all the future examinations to be held in 2018 and onwards, and the question papers shall be in English, Hindi and other vernacular languages,” said by Tara Chandra Sharma, the counsel appeared on behalf of the NEET conducting body.

The previous year, the paper for different languages were different which students claimed to have a different difficulty level. Students complained that paper in different languages was difficult as compared to the one in the English language. Petitions were filed against CBSE in Madras and Gujarat High Courts, to which CBSE replied that idea of different question paper was practiced to avoid the paper leak. As a result of such controversies, the result of NEET got delayed. Students even demanded to conduct the exam again. Supreme Court declined all such requests and finally, the results for NEET were declared.

To ensure no such delay or issues are raised this year, CBSE decided to conduct the NEET 2018 examination with only one question paper, which will be translated into different languages.
