Since the conduction of NEET 2017 exam on May 7, 2017 the controversies have surrounded the same.after the paper, when we discussed with students from all 10 languages we found that the difficulty level was different and raising concern over exam question paper committee. 

Surprisingly, the Re-exam of NEET 2017 was conducted in Warangal for 230 students as they were given question paper in Hindi rather than the Telugu which they had chosen. Such mismanagement clearly shows that there were serious loopholes which must be rectified in the future examination.

Why can Re-exam take place?

Recently a group of nine students from Madurai has filed a joint writ petition in the Madras High Court Bench seeking a direction to the Centre to cancel National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) conducted in May on the basis that Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) by framed different question papers for students who wrote the test in 10 different language.

The students and parents are firm of the opinion that since NEET exam was conducted on the basis of one India one exam, it should be on the basis of one India, one question paper is a must in NEET. Otherwise, assessment of intelligence and aptitude will differ.

They were of the opinion that the board should have had the same questions. Recently west Bengal government has also registered their concerns over the Bengali version of NEET 2017 tougher than English.

A major reason for NEET exam 2017 to be re conducted could be that the NEET exam 2017 paper was leaked in Bihar according to reports. Bihar police arrested five people from here on Saturday in a bid to leak the question paper of National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET). Out of the five arrested, two were doctors. They have been identified as Shubham and Bittu.Police also seized mobile phones, various equipment and pick van from the arrested persons. Those arrested are the gang’s kingpin and Patna Medical College and Hospital (PMCH) student Shiv Kumar, Nalanda Medical College and Hospital (NMCH) student Shivam Mandal, law student Avinash Roshan, a private school coordinator Avinash Chandra Dubey and a pick van driver Sanjay Yadav.

Facts of NEET 2017

1. NEET 2017 was conducted on May 7, 2017 for admissions to MBBS and BDS courses.
2. For the exam a total of 11 lakh candidates appeared for the exam in 104 cities, more than 2200 institutions were made the centers.
3. A total of 11,38,890 students appeared for the exam including 1,522 NRIs and 613 foreigners. 

Note: As for the confirmation of the same, CBSE Official could not be reached. Also as per media reports suggested that a re-examination or another NEET was highly unlikely, and above news is mere speculations.
