Jharkhand soon to get 3 new medical colleges with the collaboration of center and state government. While 60% of the budget shall be reimbursed by center government rest 40% shall be taken care by the state government. These three medical colleges in Palamau, Hazaribagh, and Dumka.
On this occasion, Chief minister expressed his gratitude towards Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Health Minister J P Nadda for the support they have extended to improve health facility in the state.
Interestingly, the state shall be blessed with new medical colleges for the first time in 45 years. He further said that after these colleges shall be functional new medical colleges would also be opened in Bokaro, Chaibasa and Koderma.
Das in his address at Pokhraha village in Palamu, said,
“Even after several decades of independence, patients of Palamu region still move to Ranchi for treatment. But, now they will get better treatment in their own district. New medical colleges are being set up in this state after a gap of 45 years. We expect the it to be completed within 18 months.”
One thing is for sure that now by setting up of these institutions new hope for state students to get the education in healthcare is wide open and a future for healthy Jharkhand is not too far.
