The intermediate students of government junior colleges, at Telangana, will be provided with the free coaching facility for competitive examinations like JEE, NEET and TS EAMCET said Deputy Chief Minister of Telangana, Mr. Kadiyam Srihar. Deputy CM said this while addressing a meeting which was organized by Intermediate Education JAC.

He mentioned that there are many students, in these government colleges, who cannot afford to take coaching for top notch competitive examinations and thus fail to perform well. To ensure that financial weakness does not come across their dreams such facility is ensured.

He also hopes that students will utilize this opportunity to score well in these examinations. He also asked the junior college lecturers to equip students in a way so that they are very well clear on the subjects. The coaching classes will start after the intermediate examinations are over. The board examinations start from the first week of March.

From this year the Intermediate Board of Telangana decided to implement grading system, unlike previous years where they adopted marks policy to provide the result. The state government has constituted a committee to study the grading system and submit their recommendations.

Depending on their report the Norms and Guidelines for grading system will be finalized in the month of February.

Taking on the commercialization of education and the rising completion between the students of private and Government College he said that government will regulate the overpriced fees charged by private junior colleges. So that education can be made available to every section of society.
