LPUNEST (B.Tech.) is an Entrance test for admission in Engineering Programmes at LPU will provide a gateway to all undergraduate engineering programmes in LPU. Lovely Professional University popularly also known as LPU is conducting National Entrance and Scholarship Test (LPUNEST-2018) for B.Tech aspirants every year. Students studying in 12th class can apply for LPUNEST-2018. LPUNEST or LPU  National Entrance and Scholarship Test were started in 2009 and since then has been one of the largest entrance tests in India with approximately 3 lakh students registering for the test. Registrations for LPUNEST-2018 begin from 1st Week of November 2017 onwards. The Test will be conducted in online mode and it has no pen and paper mode for the students i.e. conducted only in online mode.

Eligibility

Nationality: Only Indian Nationals are eligible to apply for LPUNEST-2018

Qualifying Examination:

Applicants appearing for LPUNEST-2018 should have either completed or shall be appearing in 2018, in final examination of 10 + 2 from Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE, New Delhi) or The Council for Indian School Certificate Examination (ICSE, New Delhi) or State Board or any other Council, Institution, college etc. declared recognised by Council of Boards of School Education (COBSE), New Delhi or any other concerned apex body as applicable.

Eligibility Criteria in the Qualifying Examination:

Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 or equivalent (with Physics, Mathematics and English)* subject to qualifying LPUNEST-2018

Note: 

1. For B.Tech. Biotechnology (BT), B.Tech. (BT - Food Technology), B.Tech. Biotechnology (Hons.), Integrated B.Tech. Biotechnology (BT) - M.Tech., Integrated B.Tech. Biotechnology (BT) - MBA and Integrated B.Tech. (BT - Food Technology) - MBA
   Subjects considered: Physics, Chemistry, English & Maths or Biology or Biotechnology; other things remaining same as above.
2. For B.Tech. Chemical Engineering (CHE), B.Tech. (CHE - Petroleum), Integrated B.Tech. Chemical Engineering (CHE) - MBA and Integrated B.Tech. (CHE - Petroleum) - MBA
   Subjects considered: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English; other things remaining same as above.
3. For B.Tech. (ME- Agriculture Engineering), and Integrated (ME- Agriculture Engineering) - MBA
   Subjects considered: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English or 10+2 (Agriculture); other things remaining same as above.
