Entrance exam dates of two major engineering entrances exams of India namely UPSEE and JEE Mains are the same for the year 2018 which has created a great dilemma for students who want to appear for both the exams. Since the participating institutes are completely different thus the level of anxiety is too high among aspirants.

It was on November 22, 2018, that the CBSE had announced that the JEE Main 2018 online exam will be held on April 15 & 16, 2018. In 2017, the UPSEE exam was conducted on April 16, 2017, while the JEE Main online exam took place on April 8 & 9, 2017.

According to reports in the media, AKTU Registrar OP Rai said,

“We have announced the dates for undergraduate and postgraduate entrance examinations for the academic session 2018-19. Moreover, we have done this so that the affiliated institutes are kept in the loop and they don’t hold their respective semester/year-end or any other examinations or activity on the same dates.”

In the midst of JEE Main 2018, UPSEE 2018 and board exams UP students have to prepare and such unwanted and completely avoidable hindrances are quite annoying.. Though If the candidates prepare for JEE Main 2018 effectively, then it will be comparatively easy for them to crack UPSEE 2018, as the syllabus for the two exams is almost similar.
