In the era where students are getting online to discuss anything and everything now AICTE have ordered to make complaint redressal system online so that the problem could be tackled more conveniently and effectively and in time bound basis. All AICTE affiliated institutions must take cognizance of the matters as AICTE has urgently and in top priority asked all such institutions to follow the guidelines as yearly approval process shall now also include this factor under consideration.
AICTE chief Anil Sahasrabudhe and addressed to the heads of all the AICTE-approved technical institutions and said,
"Every institution should be able to receive and dispose off the grievances online,"
"An online monthly status report regarding the number of the grievances received, disposed off and pending should be informed to AICTE,"
"Non-registration of grievances on the institution's portal results in more numbers being registered on the central government's pg. portal, which would be an indication that the grievance redressal mechanism of the respective institution or organisation is not working properly to the satisfaction of the petitioners,"
Grievance solving in such institutions are always a problem as reaching out to top most management is an issue and fear of any shadow punishment is always their, which stops students to speak out their mind. Hopng that all necessary consideration while launching this project will be considered.
