Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) is a national level online management entrance examination conducted by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) every year. This test helps various prestigious institutions and colleges to select suitable graduate students for admission in various Management streams and programs.
The CMAT is a three-hour computer based online test which is conducted in a single session. The test evaluates candidates ability in various segments such as

- The Online Application Form for CMAT 2018 will be available from 20th October 2017 at 10:00 am onwards.
- The end date for registration shall be December 15, 2017.

Eligibility Criteria for AICTE CMAT 2018 Exam
- Applicant must be a citizen of India.
- Graduates in any discipline can apply for CMAT exam.
- Final year students of Graduate Courses (10+2+3) whose result will be declared before commencement of admission for the academic year 2018-19 can also apply for CMAT online exam.
Exam Test Pattern for AICTE CMAT 2018 Exam
- The duration of CMAT test shall be 180 minutes (3 hours).
- Candidate must note that there shall be negative marking for wrong answers.
- For each wrong answer, 1 mark shall be deducted.

Other Important Updates Regarding for AICTE CMAT 2018 Exam
- As per the official website Trial test will be available from 20th-Oct-2017. onwards for the candidates.
- At the test venue, each candidate will be seated at a desk with a computer terminal and he/she will be provided with a scratch paper for calculations.
- After the test, the candidate must leave the scratch paper at the desk.
- Rough work cannot be done on any other paper/sheet, as nothing will be allowed inside the testing room.
- CMAT is one go 3-hour test hence no breaks will be given during the test.
