Today, on January 8, 2018, CAT 2017 results are out. Candidates can view their result on CAT’s official website (https://iimcat.ac.in). On the webpage, a “Score Card For CAT 2017” button is present click on the button to get your result.

Steps to get Score Card:-

1.  Visit CAT’s official website (https://iimcat.ac.in).
2. On the website click on “Score Card For CAT 2017” button.
3. It will redirect to a page on which candidate has to mention their User ID and Password. And then click on Login Button.
4. Candidates scorecard will be shown on the new page. Candidates can download their scorecard from there.

Candidates must keep a hard copy of their result as IIMs would not be sending hard copy of the result.

Depending on the Cut-off, various IIMs release list mentioning candidates who are shortlisted for further rounds. Depending on their performance, on these rounds, their admission to respective IIMs will be cemented.

The shortlisted candidates will have to go through test organized by IIMs. These tests include group discussion round, written test and personal interview. The candidates who qualify these rounds will get admitted to respective colleges.

The cut-off for colleges is not out yet. Soon the colleges will release their cut-offs. The cut-offs will be released on the official website of IIM. Students should stay tuned for the same. The cut-offs released by IIMs depend upon various factors like difficulty level of test, institutes ranking, number of students qualifying CAT etc.
