SNAP or Symbiosis National Aptitude Test 2017 is the most prominent management exam that candidate opt for seeking admission in top Symbiosis institutes.

The online application form facility available at official website of snaptest.org has made it possible for all candidates to apply from different parts of the world.

The eligibility for this exam is mentioned below in details. Since the candidates participating in the exam are both Indian and international candidates. Hence candidate must check their eligibility specifically.

Eligibility for Indian Candidates:

  1. Candidates must be a graduate from any MHRD recognized university or Institute with a minimum of 50% marks for general category candidates and 45% for SC/ST candidates.
  2. A candidate who has completed a qualifying degree from any Foreign University must obtain an equivalence certificate from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
  3. All foreign degrees/ qualifications need to be verified from AIU by the candidate before seeking admission to any programme of SIU.
  4. Evaluation Division of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) issues equivalence certificate for foreign degrees/qualifications.

The Symbiosis Centre for International Education (SCIE)

Any candidate who is deemed to be international students then you must be among the following categories:

  1. Foreign National: Candidate must hold a foreign passport to fall under this category.
  2. Person of Indian Origin: Candidate must hold a PIO card, and must be a citizen of a country other than India, to be part of this category.
  3. Overseas Citizen of India: Candidate must hold an OCI card, and must be a citizen of a country other than India, to seek admission through this category.
  4. Non-Resident Indian: Candidate must have given one of the two qualifying examinations i.e. intermediate or graduation to be given outside India.

NRI Candidates need to appear in NAP 2017 to seek admission in all participating institutes.

Symbiosis Centre for International Education (SCIE) which is a department of the University for an international candidate has made available a website scie.ac.in where interested international candidates can contact for any further assistance.

Candidate should be a graduate from any statutory university with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST) at graduation level.

Candidates appearing for final year examinations can also apply, but their admission will be subject to obtaining a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST) in the qualifying examination.

A candidate who has completed qualifying qualification from any Foreign University must obtain an equivalence certificate from Association of Indian Universities (AIU).

Graduate in any engineering discipline and architecture (B.E/B.Tech/B.Arch) from any statutory/recognized university, except in Computer Science (CS), Information Technology (IT), Information Systems (IS) and any related discipline, with a minimum of 50% marks (45% marks for SC/ST candidates)

A candidate who has completed qualifying qualification from any Foreign University must obtain an equivalence certificate from Association of Indian Universities (AIU).

Master of Business Administration (Business Analytics)

Candidate should be a graduate in any discipline from any statutory/recognized university with a minimum of 50% marks (45% marks for SC/ST Candidates). 2 Years full-time work experience after completion of graduation. 

A candidate who has completed qualifying qualification from any Foreign University must obtain an equivalence certificate from Association of Indian Universities (AIU).

 

 

SIIB

Master of Business Administration (Agri Business)

Candidate should be a graduate from any statutory University in Agri Sciences or Agri related discipline with minimum 50% (45% for SC/ST) marks in the qualifying examination.

OR 

Non Agri graduates from any statutory University with minimum 50% (45% for SC/ST) marks in the qualifying examination with basic understanding of agriculture and agribusiness and keen interest in the same are also eligible to apply. Such candidates need to demonstrate their understanding and interest in agribusiness during the selection process. Candidates with relevant work experience will be given preference.

OR 

Non Agri graduates from any statutory University with minimum 50% (45% for SC/ST) marks at Graduate level and having family business in agriculture and allied sector will also be considered eligible for admission.

Candidates appearing for final year examinations can also apply, but their admission will be subject to obtaining a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST) in the qualifying examination.



A candidate who has completed qualifying qualification from any Foreign University must obtain an equivalence certificate from Association of Indian Universities (AIU).

Master of Business Administration (Energy and Environment)

Candidate should be a graduate from any statutory University with a minimum 50% (45% for SC/ST) in Engineering / Geology / Economics / Petroleum / Energy & Environment Science / Bio-Chemistry / Architecture. Other graduates with full time work experience of more than one year after graduation in Energy and Environment sector are also eligible to apply. 

Candidates appearing for final year examinations can also apply, but their admission will be subject to obtaining a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST) in the qualifying examination.

A candidate who has completed qualifying qualification from any Foreign University must obtain an equivalence certificate from Association of Indian Universities (AIU).

SIMS

Master of Business Administration

Candidate should be a graduate from any statutory university with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST) at graduation level.

Candidates appearing for final year examinations can also apply, but their admission will be subject to obtaining a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST) in the qualifying examination. 

Defence category candidates should be children/ward/spouse of Defence personnel.


A candidate who has completed qualifying qualification from any Foreign University must obtain an equivalence certificate from Association of Indian Universities (AIU).

SIOM – Nashik

Master of Business Administration (Operations Management)

Candidate should be an Engineering Graduate (BE/ B Tech of any stream) from a statutory University with minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST candidates). Candidates appearing for final year examinations can also apply, but their admission will be subject to obtaining a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST) in the qualifying examination.

A candidate who has completed qualifying qualification from any Foreign University must obtain an equivalence certificate from Association of Indian Universities (AIU). 

 

SCIT

Master of Business Administration (Data Sciences & Data Analytics)

Candidate should be a graduate of any faculty with Mathematics at +2 level of any statutory University with minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST). Candidates appearing for final year examinations can also apply, but their admission will be subject to obtaining a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST) at qualifying examination.

A candidate who has completed qualifying qualification from any Foreign University must obtain an equivalence certificate from Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
