Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology (NSIT) is an autonomous institution of the Government of Delhi, affiliated with the University of Delhi which is the only an engineering college under the University of Delhi. NSIT was formerly known as the Delhi College of Engineering and renamed as Delhi Technological University and after that named as Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology.
The college was established in the year 1983 as Delhi Institute of Technology in Dwarka, New Delhi, India with the objective of meeting the growing demands of manpower in the emerging fields of engineering and technology with a close social and industrial interface.
The Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology campus is spread over an area of 145 acres which is a fully residential campus with a wide range of facilities. Currently, NSIT offers undergraduate degree programs in Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in different disciplines and Postgraduate degree programs in M.Tech and Doctorate of philosophy (Ph.D.) degree programs in engineering and science.
